Branding and Identity
User Centric Design
Prior to founding Matson Consulting Group, Jason ran the operations of one of the region’s most successful internet startups through expansive growth. He learned the in and outs of digital marketing from the inside, not at an arm’s length away. He brings these experiences and that desire to help businesses grow to every single engagement the company undertakes.
Jason has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Drexel University’s Lebow School of Business and degrees in Physics and Philosophy. When he’s not designing and implementing new systems (or continuously improving existing ones), Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Brielle and his two young kids. Jason likes music (particularly the 60’s), Boston Red Sox baseball, summers on Cape Cod, and coffee.
With more than 15 years of print and digital publishing experience, Brielle brings a keen understanding of how words and images communicate ideas. Her focus is on helping clients create a clear and concise message through an interplay of images and text. She works collaboratively to create the vision, but it is her job to execute that vision.
Brielle has an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. When not working with clients to create killer websites, she enjoys being the creative half to her husbands’ analytical brain, making forts in her living room with her two children, Sophie and Hank, and cooking meat low and slow.
Client Success Manager
Katie finds joy in all things related to the process of communication. Whether donating her efforts to help local children’s hospitals in fundraising or helping clients reach their goals, she is a cheerleader by nature.
A graduate of Lehigh University, Katie combines a background in English, Business Communication and Social Relations as a foundation for her Advertising career. A recipient of the Marketer of the Year distinction from the Philadelphia chapter of the American Marketing Association with agency and client-side experience, Katie serves proudly as a Temple University Adjunct Instructor of Advertising for the Klein College of Media and Communication.
When she’s not helping clients reach their goals or teaching, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, young twins and tries desperately to convince her dachshund, Grace, that she’s not head of the household.
John started using computers in 1981 when a Commodore CBM was donated to his grade school. He fell in love with the programming process then and continues that love today. While John has used many languages through the years, his current “love” is WordPress and the community that surrounds it. He’s a regular contributor to both WordPress Meetups and WordCamps and enjoys being an active member of the community.
When he’s not helping clients, John is also a certified kettlebell instructor and runs a morning bootcamp 3 days a week at a local gym. He’s also a regular practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, attending with his son. He loves spending quality time with his wife, Denise, and two children whenever he can and is the chief cook in the house.
Digital Marketing Associate
Ben joined the Matson Group as a jack-of-all-trades, leveraging his extensive previous agency experience to craft and execute SEO, Paid Search, and Social Media Campaigns for companies both big and small.
Ben began his career as a child-acting star on the VideoNow Color Player in the hit “Josh Peck’s Laugh Camp.” If you don’t recognize the face, that’s because VideoNow went the way of BetaMax. Onward to American University where Ben received high marks while double majoring in Marketing & Accounting. When not at work, Ben can be seen around town, trying to stop his dog Cooper from eating garbage.
When not in front of a computer, Kevin can usually be found hiking mountains and jungles or exploring some far-flung corner of the world.
